If you would like free and confidential advice about where to find the right kind of help, we suggest you talk with First Call for Help, a United Way agency based in Parsippany.  They are set up to counsel you on issues such as housing, transportation, financial, employment, child care, drug abuse or other personal problems.  Then they will help you make contact with an appropriate government or charitable agency.  See their website or phone 800-435-7555 or 973-331-3663.
