World War II Veterans Medal Ceremony

The Medal   
 

On September 18, 2001, the Township held a ceremony at the Community Center to present the Morris County Freeholders World War II Commemorative Medal to the Township's veterans of that war.  The Medals were presented by Freeholder Director Douglas Cabana, on behalf of the Board of Chosen Freeholders. This page contains a few pictures of the event and the names of the 58 honorees.

You may qualify for a medal if you served during World War II, the Korean War, Vietnam, Lebanon, Grenada, Panama, Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm, Somalia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Haiti, Operation Enduring Freedom or Operation Iraqi Freedom.  If you missed the ceremony, contact the Morris County Department of Human Services at 973-285-6866.
