11th Annual Holiday Tree Lighting

Meyersville Circle Christmas Tree
Tree provided by the Beneduce family at Great Swamp Greenhouses. Tree decorations by Bill Peterson of  Landscape Lighting.
Fireworks
Spectacular entertainment donated by Garden State Fireworks.  And we thank the Volunteer Fire Companies for standing-by at the fireworks launch site.
Coffee and cookies
Bring cookies to share.  Coffee and hot chocolate donated by the Meyersville Circle Association, the Recreation Committee and the Stirling Hotel.
Santa arrives
The reindeer heard about next week's deer hunt in the nearby GSNWR, and refused to risk visiting Meyersville.  Robert Kielblock arranged alternate transportation.
Santa Claus
Santa Claus (Phil Sievering) handed out stuffed teddy bears (Long Hill Recreation Advisory Committee). The left over stuffed animals will be given to the Shrine for distribution to homeless kids.
Central School Band
Central School Band Director Eileen Shanagher Entertainment was provided by the Central School Band, under the direction of Eileen Shanagher, and the Choir, led by Matthew Koller. Central School Choir Director Matthew Koller

Ceremony organizer Michele Urbanski dressed for the cold.  Come next year for a better view of the lights in her Santa hat.
More Fireworks
Special thanks also to the Police Explorers, who ably handled the traffic control, and to the Long Hill First Aid Squad, which stood by in case of frostbite.
