The Long Hill Township Board of Education consists of nine members who oversee the district operation, set policy, approve curricula, textbooks and new programs, and ensure adherence to state laws and regulations.  The Board receives its mandate from the Legislature of the State of New Jersey and is responsible for the development of the educational policies for the school district.

Meeting dates and locations are published in the , and are available in the PTO Buzz Book, monthly school newsletters, and on the signboard at Central School.

Meeting agendas are available on Thursday before the meeting at the Board office.  They are also posted on the  Board Agenda  page in this section of the website, and generally are also available at the Circulation Desk at the Library.
