the Township. Hiking trails through marsh, open field and deciduous forest.

| A group of residents organized
a project to create a hiking trail along the Passaic River.
The first 3.5 mile segment was laid out in December, 2000. In April, 2001, they started
to place trail markers. The first portion of the trail will open during the summer of 2001.
