TOWNSHIP OF LONG HILL ORDINANCE #117-02 AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING PARKING REGULATIONS ON UNION STREET AND AMENDING CHAPTER VII OF THE TOWNSHIP CODE ENTITLED "TRAFFIC" AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING PARKING REGULATIONS ON UNION STREET AND AMENDING CHAPTER VII OF THE TOWNSHIP CODE ENTITLED "TRAFFIC" BE IT ORDAINED by the Township Committee of the Township of Long Hill in the County of Morris, New Jersey that Chapter VII of the Township Code entitled "Traffic" is hereby supplemented and amended as follows: Section 1.  Section 7-14 entitled “Parking Prohibited at All Times on Certain Streets” (as previously amended by Ordinance No. 113-02) is amended by revising the description of the location where parking is prohibited on Union Street to read as follows: 7-14  PARKING PROHIBITED AT ALL TIMES ON CERTAIN STREETS. No person shall park a vehicle at any time upon any streets or parts thereof described. Name of Street Side Location Union Street North From Main Avenue to a point 290 feet west thereof Section 2.  The effectiveness of this ordinance is continued upon signs being erected as required by law. Section 3.  Any and all other ordinances or parts thereof in conflict or inconsistent with any of the terms hereof are hereby repealed to such extent as they are so in conflict or inconsistent. Section 4.  In case any article, section or provision of this ordinance shall be held invalid in any court of competent jurisdiction, the same shall not affect any other article, section or provision of this ordinance except insofar as the article, section or provision so declared invalid shall be inseparable from the remainder or any portion thereof. Section 5.  This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon final passage and publication as required by law. TOWNSHIP OF LONG HILL ORDINANCE #119-02 AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING ADMINISTRATIVE WAIVERS OF DEVELOPMENT PERMITS AND SUPPLEMENTING AND AMENDING SECTION 143 OF THE TOWNSHIP LAND USE ORDINANCE WHEREAS, Ordinance 68-00 established a procedure by which the Township Engineer, in consultation with the Completion Review Committee (CRC) could issue administrative waivers of the requirements for development permits in specified cases; and WHEREAS, Ordinance 90-01, which was a comprehensive revision of the Township’s Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance, did not include that provision from Ordinance 68-00; and WHEREAS, the provision allowing the Township Engineer to waive the requirements for development permits in certain cases has worked well; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Township Committee of the Township of Long Hill in the County of Morris, New Jersey that Section 143 of the Township Land Use Ordinance entitled “Flood Damage Prevention” (as previously supplemented and amended by Ordinance #115-2002) is hereby supplemented and amended as follows: Section 1.  Subsection 143.6 entitled “Waiver of Requirements” is supplemented and amended by adding a new paragraph “d”, “e” and “f” which read as follows: "d.  The Township Engineer, in consultation with the Completion Review Committee (“CRC”), may issue an administrative waiver of the requirements for a development permit in the following cases: The proposed development involves an existing or planned detached single-family residence, two-family residence or accessory structure; and The proposed development does not require approvals or permits from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, Township Planning Board or Township Zoning Board of Adjustment.” e.  The Township Planning Board and Zoning Board of Adjustment may waive the requirements for development permit when no development is proposed within the 100-year flood plain. f.  Applications for a waiver of the requirements for a development permit shall be accompanied by the application fee and escrow deposit required by subsection 181.1c of the Township Land Use Ordinance. Required escrow shall be deposited at the time of filing an application in order to cover the cost of professional services incurred by the Township during the application review process. In the event that an administrative waiver of the requirements for a development permit is not granted and review and approval by the Township Planning Board or Zoning Board of Adjustment is required, all provisions of Section 143 of the Township Land Use Ordinance shall apply.” Section 2.  Any and all other ordinances or parts thereof in conflict or inconsistent with any of the terms hereof are hereby repealed to such extent as they are so in conflict or inconsistent. TOWNSHIP OF LONG HILL ORDINANCE #120-02 AN ORDINANCE INCREASING SEWER USE FEES AND AMENDING CHAPTER 22 OF THE TOWNSHIP CODE BE IT ORDAINED by the Township Committee of the Township of Long Hill, in the County of Morris, State of New Jersey as follows: Section 1. Subsection “a” of Section 22-23 “User Rates” in Chapter 22 of the Township Code entitled “Sewer Use Charges” is hereby amended in its entirety by increasing the charges an average of 4.2 percent as follows: A. Sewer users served by the water company shall be charged as follows: Water Used (cubic feet) Rate First 5,000 $219.00 5,001 to 6,200 $243.00 6,201 to 7,500 $305.00 7,501 to 8,700 $345.00 8,701 to 10,000 $392.00 10,001 to 11,200 $431.00 11,201 to 12,500 $478.00 12,501 to 13,700 $515.00 13,701 to 14,900 $565.00 14,901 to 16,100 $607.00 16,101 to 17,300 $650.00 17,301 to 18,500 $692.00 18,501 to 19,700 $734.00 19,701 to 37,499 $3.66 per hundred cubic feet 37,500 and over $3.26 per hundred cubic feet B. Sewer users with wells 1. Sewer users with wells shall be charged as follows: (a) Residential Units $297 per unit (b) Other Sewer Users $320 per unit Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect immediately and shall remain in full force and effect until revised by ordinance duly adopted by the Township Committee.
