Township Committee Minutes

This page contains links to the official minutes of the Township Committee meetings. The minutes are posted after they are APPROVED, which generally means they are at least two weeks behind. You may search the Committee Minutes for any key word or phrase. You can also read these minutes at Town Hall (as required by statute) or at the Library.

Township Committee meetings are broadcast LIVE on LHTV, Comcast Channel 25 and Verizon Channel 37at 7:30 PM Wednesday. and are rebroadcast often. See the LHTV page for a schedule.

You may purchase an audio file on DVD of any meeting of the Township Committee for $10.00.

The html derivatives have not been cleaned up, and as a result, they will have typography and alignment different from the paper original. The text and sequence will always be identical.

ORDINANCES

Between January, 2002 and June, 2003, the complete text of Ordinances were published on this website as soon as they were introduced. Click the "Ordinances" link when it appears. After mid 2006, most ordinances were published in full in the minutes.

Ordinances are generally codified and available on-line through our ordinance publisher. The codified ordinances are known to be up-to-date through December, 2006. Ordinances passed in 2007 generally can be read in the minutes.

"Search Hints"

To focus the search, use the "search within results" feature. This will require a little patience.

Say you want to find all references to Poplar Drive during 2004.

Enter 2004 Regular and select "Find EXACT Phrase" in the option list. Then click the yellow button.
You will see a list of 24 references (for every meeting in 2004).
In the Search Results window, enter Poplar Drive, select "Find EXACT Phrase" in the option list, check "within results", then click the "Search Again" button.
This yields a list of nine references.
