Preserving the Legacy of 2000-2003

Memorial Park

The Township Committee is studying a proposal to construct a Memorial Park on the slope just east of the entrance to Town Hall.  It is intended to be a tranquil place, with benches and a variety of plaques and memorials to the volunteers who have served Long Hill over the years.

If you are interested in serving on the committee to plan this park, please email the Mayor.

This plaque is set on a stone under the flagpole
in front of the Stirling Post Office.

This plaque was installed years ago by the Lions Club.  It is an example of the memorials we have in mind for this park.
