Community Services

This section lists the non-government organizations which help Long Hill Township in many ways.  Nothing in this section is directly related to the Township Government.  However, these listings are provided to make the web site a complete information resource for the residents.  The Township makes no recommendations or endorsements of any of the organizations listed in these pages.

We list the Churches and Community Organizations that contribute to the community.

The Great Swamp and Places to Visit showcase the many attractions in Long Hill Township and the immediately surrounding area.  These pages are by no means comprehensive, but they do provide an inventory of attractions you will want to learn more about.  Big Trees is a list of the largest trees in the township.  You may visit them, too.

The Senior Citizen's Club has over 200 members, and sponsors regular events and trips for its members and other Township Residents.

The Grange is a proud reminder of our rural heritage, and continues to operate as it has since 1909.

Other organizations which serve the community are also listed.  The Summit Red Cross, the Chamber of Commerce, the American Legion and the PBA are but a few.  If your organization would like a similar page in this section, contact the Webmaster.

Finally, we include a page of Internet Links which point to various commercial Internet Sites that can help you find anything from Lottery results to local movie theaters.

Used eyeglasses and hearing aids may be deposited in the drop box operated by the Lions Club in front of the card shop at Shoprite Plaza in Stirling.

Used Clothing may be left in the drop boxes operated by the Salvation Army behind the Community Center on Warren Avenue in Stirling.
